Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps talks to Matt Laurer of NBC news Dateline about the night In South Carolina when the controversial photo was taken of Phelps smoking from a bong.

“It was a small group of people and we were just sitting around celebrating,” he tells Lauer in his first TV interview since the photo was taken

IT was a bad mistake a very stupid thing to do when asked by Laurer if he was smoking pot. I want to and have to teach people that its wrong and not to make the same mistake that I have.

Phelps said that after his Olympic win in Beijing  he wanted to relax a bit.

  ”I was just blowing off steam and relaxing and having fun,” he said of the party pictures that were taken of him after the Olympics.

A sheriff in South Carolina says he will not charge Phelps after an investigation stemming from the controversial photo

Ousted American Idol Hopefuls Future Plans

Recently ousted American Idol hopefuls Jasmine Murray & Jorge Nunez tell what its like to be tossed of the show and there plans for the future.

“Well, actually, I’m still wondering why is  it that I’m so happy,” Nuñez tells ET. “…What I thought was, you know, I did my best. I worked really hard, and I did something that not everyone does.”

The 2o year old Puerto Rican Nunez says he has plans of finishing college, there is only one semester left  and I am done say’s Nunez to finish his degree.

Sixteen year old Jasmine  Murray  tells  us that been 13^th in the American Idol lineup solidified her dream of being an entertainer in the near future.

“I know that I learned from being in this that this is what I want to do with the rest of my life,” she says.

The talented teen also plans on finishing high school then off to a career in entertainment.

Mickey Rourke Returns To The Big Screen

The once popular and handsome Mickey Rourke returns to the big screen in the wrestler. Rourke  who became the bad boy of the industry back in the eighties with his violent rages and use of drugs such as cocaine and heroin. Married and divorced due to his habits. Even attempted bare knuckle boxing . Taking chances was a turn on for Rourke.

He was banned from the business and no one would touch him for years. He even walked the street hungry and homeless working odd jobs to support his habits and getting nearer and nearer to death. His one true friend   his dog is what kept him from killing himself. At one time he attempted hanging himself, but as he was struggling to get into the right position his dog came in . The first thought in Rourkes mind was who will take care of my best friend. It was at that very moment that he decided to  turn  his life around. He has never looked back.

Acting with such actors as Nicholas Cage, Robert DeNiro, Faye Dunaway, Bruce Wllis,  Quintin Terrantino and Jack Nicholson. He had hit bottom until that near fatal day.

Now with a Box Office Hit And a hit song by his new Friend Bruce Springstein, Mickey Rourke is well on his way, to be the comeback kid.

Kisses emancipated lord of the tongue Gene Simmons  in Toronto to trying to expand his expand his music empire. Im specifically looking for Torontonians he said.

“I don’t want someone who sings well, I want someone who is charismatic beyond charisma,” said Simmons, the keynote speaker at Canadian Music Week. “A star is going to be bigger than the songs they sing.”

Simmons was his usual sleazy and funny self as is evident in his popular tv show GENE SMMONS FAMILY JEWELS . Simmons never actually said what he was specifically interested in; but stated  it was very odd that so many  Canadian artists lock to the US.

“There is as much musical talent here as in the States, don’t kid yourself,” he said. “And unless you provide them with the industry and the pop culture, they will move across the border. It’s not far.

Simmons saying he plans to sign at least 3 bands this year states he doesn’t want acts but people, with a specific niche. Stating he didn’t want home bands but someone who can be marketed world wide.

Simmons also mentioned that Kiss is in the studio working on a new album the first since 98′ “Psycho Circus.” The new album will be produced by lead singer Paul Stanely.

Simmons has a reputation of caring more about money than music, projected his interest directly to the audience. I signed my name with a dollar sign — trademarked, by the way,” he said For every dollar you don’t want, would you mind sending me those dollars?” Simmons fired back. “I never have enough.”

On relationships, Simmons said: “For women, get married as often as you can, as fast as you can, get divorced as many times as you can, it’ll be the single largest financial windfall you will ever make in your entire life

Yet he conceded that when it comes to finding the next big thing in music, he doesn’t necessarily have the answers.

“You really don’t know it until you know it,” he said. “You know it when you hear or see it.

“That’s the magic of charisma.”

Who’s Milking Who ?

While watching the Dr. Phil show today I couldn’t help but wonder, of all the help they are offering Nadya  Suleman  why haven’t they offered her psychological help.  It is clear to see that there are issues rolling around in her head.

First  of  all she already has six children enough to deal with for any normal parent, but than she gets herself artificially inseminated and has an additional eight children. You can only draw one conclusion she’s nuts and to top it off  she’s  unemployed . How in the world does she plan on raising these    children.   Or   did   she even think about it. Was celebrity what she was trying to attain. She frequently refers to herself as Angelina Jolies sister.

Two of her publicists have quit the first due to threats on her life and the second just couldn’t bare her various idiosyncrasies. She’s nuts he said and walked off.

Now to Dr. Phil who sat on his talk show throne offering her all the help she would need from contractors to diapers. Why didn’t he offer her some mental help because above all that’s what she  needs. Those poor children are in for a very hairy ride lets pray they make it.
