Lack of Inventory Causing Outrages Real Estate Boom

November 18, 2009 REAL ESTATE No Comments

The Real Estate market has become less and less of a friendly place,  Realtors are pricing their sellers,  listings   below their actual value which in turn leads to a multiple offer situation, leaving the poor buyer out in the cold.

The  reason,  this is all happening is that there is simply a lack of inventory and inferior homes are selling for top dollar.  While viewing several homes today with my client I had to pause and think to myself that a couple of years ago I would not dare show homes that were in such poor condition,  Yet due to the lack of inventory these inferior properties are now selling for top dollar .

Leaving purchasers with little to choose from.  Some of these properties should be condemned

Forget putting in the inspection clause because some other buyer will come in and buy it out right with out the condition.

Still we hum and ha at the market, but we are far better off than say New York , London or Hong Kong where tiny cubicles sell for over a million dollars
