Plenty of Buyers But Where Are The Homes ?

What is misunderstood today is that everyone thinks we are in a depressed Real Estate market. This could not be further from the truth we are not in a depressed market. What has happened is that the market re adjusted itself to keep pace with the economy. Meaning in plain English that we have gone from a Sellers market to a Buyers market. Things have remained constant only the players and the product have changed places with each other.
Where at one time a Seller could demand his price and would likely get it, today that same Seller may ask for it, but the Buyer will pay only what he is willing and comfortable to pay according to the market conditions set with homes of similar characteristics in the same market place and sometimes even less.
It’s not that there are not enough Buyers, there are plenty of Buyers, but too few Sellers willing to sell their homes at the current market value of their property.
However most of the Sellers are looking to upgrade to bigger homes and this is where it becomes a
win /win situation . The Seller will sell his home for less, but will also by his new home for less. It is relative.
Don’t be fearful of selling because when you buy you will end up where you started and with a much larger home.
