Ok what’s all the hub bub ? It seems everyone has a money problem, cash is in short supply, but go into their houses and there’s a Plasma or hd tv in every room, Nintendo, guitar hero, x box, I pods, Blackberry’s even though no one is in business, 2-3 cars in the drive way and a snow blower the size of a tractor for a single car driveway which has been altered to accommodate the other vehicles. I say non sense, people are over weight over fed over spoiled and over Lazy.
Get off your best intentions and shovel that driveway. Oh yes and that lazy teenager that wont even take out the trash get him out there helping you.
Have a garage sale and sell all that junk which you believe to be necessary, get back to basic cable forget the satellite service with over 500 channels, you can only watch one at a time anyway.
Get out doors with your family and do things together. Hikes, walks, chores are all ways of entertainment and they are all free.
Stop buying all those processed foods, salad dressings, artificial bacon bits and chocolate ice cream. Make your meals from scratch, their healthier for you and you’ll save plenty in the long run. Remember when someone else does the cooking it costs you in the wallet.
Back in the day as kids call it today, we didn’t have cable only an antenna and were lucky to get 3-4 channals , so we went outside and played. Didn’t need video games and there was only one fat Polish kid down the street.
Parents always told us to save our money and we did without the junk of the day.
The kids of today and their parents can do without the latest gadgets. Living from pay cheque to pay cheque and borrowing from their credit cards just to keep up with the payments yet increasing their debt more and more.
Go back to the simple life, slow down and smell the roses and you’ll soon be off the Prozac.
Oh Yes and no pesky calls from credit card companies.
